Sagar Marine was established in 1975 and is under family ownership.
As Dutch barges specialists we can assure visitors that a visit to our waterside premises is well worth it. Dutch barges are ALL we build and we usually have at least three at differing stages for viewing, i.e. under steelwork construction and varying stages of fit-out. Check our boats under construction section which will show the boats we are currently working on.
We won the John Beadsmore Award for excellence in broad beam boatbuilding in August, 1999 and the Lionel Monk Trophy for “Alicia”, the best commercially built boat at the National Festival & Boat Show at Beale Park, 2006.
Our web site is designed to give prospective customers a photographic insight into our Mini-Luxe barges and shows both pictures of boats we are currently working on and some of our many completed boats. Please note none of these are “for sale” - they are all customer owned.
