Sagar Marine was established in 1975 and is under family ownership.

As Dutch barges specialists we can assure visitors that a visit to our waterside premises is well worth it. Dutch barges are ALL we build and we usually have at least three at differing stages for viewing, i.e. under steelwork construction and varying stages of fit-out.

We won the John Beadsmore Award for excellence in broad beam boatbuilding in August, 1999 and the Lionel Monk Trophy for "Alicia", the best commercially built boat at the National Festival & Boat Show at Beale Park, 2006.
