Mini-Luxe Dutch Barges

Our Dutch barges are designed and built under our Mini-Luxe trade mark - they are truly unique and are not available from ANY other builder.

All boats are built to order and to individual quotation after an initial meeting to agree the full specification required.

Our barges have superb tapering lines, not too exaggerated, with a workmanlike style and a vee hull design which gives excellent cruising characteristics and easy mooring on

shallower waters. They are strongly constructed to an excellent standard and have been stability tested by an Independent notified body and are fully CE marked Category C for the RCD.

Although our barges are built to our standard design, we are able to offer differing

lay-outs, sizes of aft deck, wheelhouse and aft cabin, thus tailoring each boat to suit the customer.

We build in ANY length from 49ft. to 60ft. - you choose the size that would suit your needs the best - you are not fixed to just two or three sizes.

Our barges are completed to a very high specification but customers have the option of adding bow thrusters and generator sets, to meet their own particular budget and a wide range of equipment is available.

We use fully durable Iroko as standard fit for our arched top windows, forward and stern escape windows, skylights and wheelhouse.

Paintwork is of the highest standard, with shot blasted and epoxy primed vee and hull sheets, full International anti-fouling system below waterline and two pack acrylic sprayed gloss finish as standard.

All our Dutch barges are fitted out to an excellent consistent quality with Iroko doors, drawers, Decorative scalloped beams and poles, etc. all tailor made for each boat.

We use more solid hardwood on our fit outs than most and will cut no corners on the

quality of the materials we use - which are all top class and this is reflected in the overall standard of our fit outs.

We offer two styles of finish for doors, cupboards and drawer fronts, i.e. shaker style or beaded.

You can also choose from a traditional Iroko fireplace surround or if you want something a bit more modern, you can opt for a simpler design in either brass or stainless steel.

Bath with shower over or a separate shower, again your choice and differing bathroom lay-outs are available.
